ORGAN
Works for the Organ
The organ works of Daniele Maffeis offer the performer one of the most exciting and significant profiles of the musician, who made the organ his instrument of choice as an esteemed teacher and interpreter, especially in the art of improvisation. This might explain why these pieces are rather limited in number, sufficient, however, to reveal the compositional peculiarities, starting with the harmonic refinement and a functional virtuosity. Also in this volume there are pieces available in orchestral form.
