CHAMBER AND CONCERTANTE MUSIC
The publication is divided into two tomes: the first contains compositions for one instrument (except in one case) and piano; the second, some versions with orchestra and an original piece for strings. There are traditional combinations (violin and piano for three Sonatas and a short ‘poem’), and more singular instrumental choices for pages with a concertante structure entrusted from time to time to flute, two clarinets, cornet or trumpet, trombone, double bass (possibly replaced by bassoon or cello). Therefore, it is also an interesting integration of the solo repertoire for those instruments to which former composers have not given much consideration beyond their orchestral use.
